SciSmart Applications——Morphology

      Morphological image processing is the basic idea of using structural elements as a "probe" in the image constantly moving, in this process collected image information, analyze the logical relationship between the various parts of the image to understand the structural characteristics of the image. the basic morphological operations are swelling, erosion, open computing, closed computing. Use these operators and their combinations for image shape and structure analysis and processing, can solve the noise suppression, feature extraction, edge detection, shape recognition, texture analysis, image restoration and reconstruction and other issues.

Application: Fill scratch.

Steps：

Step1：Read image by “Image import”. replace the path of the images located, For example: D:/Demo Project/Morphology/image /1.jpg. 

Step2: Fill scratches on the product surface by the "Dilate" method of “Morphological” tool, as shown in Figure3.
